I am still new to this art but am awed by what Haniti Wes and Maayong Laki Lex have been teaching me, I'm struggling to keep up but am determined to learn all that I can and to help this family pass down this one of a kind art!

It is an art that needs to be experienced and taught... It cant be described in one post.


But... Pinakatay in Cebuano mean "Cursive" namely after the flow, speed, and accuracy, precision this art has to offer along with its rich cultural influences.

Meant for todays world and practical application.


Eskrima is the term used in Cebu but FMA is also known as Kali and/or Arnis in other areas around the Philippines


Sigidas in Cebuano means repetition and succession.


Pinakatay Arnis Sigidas is a traditional Filipino martial art that emphasizes the use of weapons, particularly sticks, knives, and other bladed instruments. The term "Arnis" refers to the Filipino martial art of stick fighting, while "Sigidas" can refer to speed of the style or technique within this martial art.
